ABOUT African Queens Travel

About Us

African Queens Travel is a lesbian-owned travel company focused on providing luxury travel vacations for the LGBTQ community to South Africa, Victoria Falls, and Botswana.

In 1927 my great grandparents, Sollie and Gertie Jackson, purchased their first hotel in the Western Cape, South Africa, beginning nearly 100 years of family experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.

As a proud lesbian born in Cape Town, South Africa, I moved to California while continuing my adventures to Africa with my fiancé, Ramona.

Unable to find a reasonably affordable women’s group tour to Africa that included everything I wanted to do and see, I created African Queens Travel. Travel and experience Africa in a safe, affordable, and convenient way. We provide convenient "One Stop for Adventures'' to Africa.

We offer life-changing travel experiences that will make your dreams come true. We promise excellence, with no compromises ever, and look after you throughout your journey .

Dedicated experienced teams - our African experts have nearly 100 years of combined knowledge of the continent. As the only lesbian-owned Travel company focused exclusively on Southern Africa, we are able to design extraordinary luxury itineraries for travelers wanting to experience the ultimate Safari Adventure.

One-Stop shopping long-term relationships with top Safari lodges hotels,  transportation, and activity providers allow us to offer ALL-INCLUSIVE VACATION PACKAGES at REASONABLE COSTS. Plus we have 24/7 Travel Assistance for individuals in the USA as well as local offices in South Africa.
