Travel Information

Passports

All international travellers entering any country inAfrica require a valid, unexpired Passport with at least 10-12 blank pages. Also passports must NOT expire during your vacation. It is the guests responsibility to ensure a valid passport for travelling. 



Visas

Victoria Falls: The New 2-for-1 KAZA UniVisa visa for entry into both Zimbabwe and Botswana is available at all major ports of entry into both countries, making it easier than ever to experience both sides of the falls for tourists intending to travel to either Zimbabwe and/or Botswana. The Uni-Visa even allows for day-trips to Botswana to visit attractions like the Chobe National Park – provided you return to Zambia or Zimbabwe the same day.The cost is $100 cash and obtained at the airport upon arrival.

Currency

The South African currency unit is the rand (ZAR or R), with 100 cents making up R1. The accepted currency in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) is the US Dollar. Ensure you have small denominations and that all notes $20 or larger have a current date (within the last 7 years). Some places won't accept older bills. 


Vaccinations

Please ensure you have received all your required vaccinations prior to travel (remember to bring your documents). 


Health Issues

We will have a licensed Registered Nurse from the State of California travelling with us on our vacations. Please let us know if you have any medical issues that you need us to be aware of. If there are activities you don’t want to do, let us know ahead of time so we can plan another activity for you.
